About
The Alpine Ski Programs at ASC, California, is built on the legacy of inspiring a lifelong passion for skiing, athletics, and the mountain environment. Our programs are structured to remove barriers and create opportunities for young athletes to grow as individuals in snow sports. Our coaching staff focuses on building fundamental skiing skills from development to competition teams. Athletes have the opportunity to participate in U.S. Ski & Snowboard age-class competitions as well as inter-club competitions, while experiencing the pure joy of being on the snow in the mountains. Exploring the mountains on skis is like no other sport, and we invite you to join us.
All programs operate from ASC Training Center at Boreal Mountain Resort. The race arena is our dedicated training and racing venue closed to the public, creating a safe learning environment. Additionally, night training under the lights is unique to our programs and provides additional training opportunities not found elsewhere.
TAHOE RACE SERIES (TRS) ALPINE PROGRAM
ASC’s mission continues, creating a lifelong love for snowsports. The focus shifts to ski racing while building necessary skills through coached all-mountain and terrain park skiing. Coaches introduce athletes to the fundamentals of slalom and giant slalom techniques and tactics in all snow conditions. TRS athletes race in the USSS Tahoe Race Series (TRS) and Far West Division. TRS races are all locally in the Tahoe area, while Far West races are offered in Tahoe and Central/Mammoth lakes area.
Athletes and family members can purchase discounted Ikon, Woodward, and Boreal season passes.
