About
Come join the ASC family with the Alpine Ski Team!
Young skiers begin their lifelong journey as snow sport athletes at ASC. That journey begins with our Development Programs. Athletes learn the values of teamwork, discipline, physical fitness, and respect for the mountain environment. The Alpine Development Program focuses on performance techniques through directed free-skiing and drill courses, building skills under the guidance of ASC’s qualified coaches. Alpine development skiers expect to experience inter-club competition throughout the season.
Summer Opportunity: Alpine U12 and U14 athletes welcome to join Nordic training! Come get some dryland training in a fun and challenging atmosphere. We have summer-only options to keep you fit and ready for ski season! The training program will skew toward Nordic skills, but the skills and fitness will transfer over nicely to downhill skills too.
We even have a skimeister add-on option in the winter for kids to do both alpine and Nordic. Sign up for the appropriate NORDIC age group (1 day/week option) and choose “Skimeister add-on” for two Alpine and two Nordic sessions per week.

Our Development teams are broken into two parts:
Cisco & Devo (1 & 2)
Both programs are organized to teach fundamental skiing skills and to introduce competitive ski racing to young athletes. Emphasis is placed on the technical fundamentals of skiing that apply to all types of alpine skiing. This is accomplished through free skiing throughout the Resort on Saturdays. We focus on fundamental skills including balance, edging, and body position. This is not a “first time, learn to ski” program. Please visit www.rideboreal.com for ski lessons.
